Balfolk – A Traditional French Dance Party
This community dance event features easy-to-learn traditional French folk dances with live music by Les Marmottes, a regional French folk ensemble featuring hurdy gurdy (vielle), fiddles, hammered dulcimer, tenor banjo, octave mandolin, piano, pipes, and more! At the same time, we will acknowledge brokennness. Forgiveness is often lifted up as a means of healing and a sign of being a good person.
