Balfolk – A Traditional French Dance Party

This community dance event features easy-to-learn traditional French folk dances with live music by Les Marmottes, a regional French folk ensemble featuring hurdy gurdy (vielle), fiddles, hammered dulcimer, tenor banjo, octave mandolin, piano, pipes, and more!

There will be dance instruction. No partner is necessary. Instruction and calling the dances will be Adrienne Simpson. A free dance workshop will take place on Friday the 22nd from 3 to 4:30pm. The dance will be on Saturday the 23rd from 7:30 to 10pm.
