Beginning rowing classes
Beginning rowing classes will be held 6 to 8 a.m. Mondays and 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. Sundays, May 22 through August 28 at Emigrant Lake, 175 Emigrant Lake Road, Ashland. The classes cost $125 per month. Veterans are free. For registration and more information, contact Toni at ktoni50@yahoo.com.
Intermediate Tai Chi for Older Adults
Tai Chi is a moving meditation that strengthens bones and muscles, improves balance and increases flexibility. Qi Gong, the movement of energy through the body, is also incorporated. Pre-registration required: ashland.or.us/register or 541.488.5342.
Gentle Yoga for Older Adults
The focus of this one-hour hatha yoga class is to increase strength, flexibility and balance while simultaneously alleviating stress and fatigue.
