To provide spiritual assistance means to pass it on, ‘letting God pour through’

By Moshe Ross

In an emergency on an airplane it says, “Put on your own oxygen mask first.” The only way we can give spiritual help is by learning to pass it on, letting God pour through. Humanly, we don’t and we can’t create it. We learn that “God is a very present help.” God is always very present with us, and from realizing this comes transcendent help.

To give help, we relax, comfortable, eyes closed, surrendering, and we’re feeling this silence which becomes Silence. From the rich soil of our human awareness, spiritual awareness is sprouting forth and blooming like a beautiful flower.

Listening in this Silence, God Itself is the spiritual Quiet, “The Voice of profound Stillness.” We imbibe this holy wisdom, enwrapped in Silence. God is a No Thingness, an Omnifertile Thinglessness and Beingness encompassing all forms yet beyond all forms, omnipresent in an infinitesimal Center within me.

When someone has asked us for spiritual help, they aren’t coming for loaves and fishes, for physical solutions; they are seeking the Presence of God. We recognize that I and my Parent are One, I and my brothers and sisters are One, we are all one Being, one Consciousness beneath the surface. We are timeless and formless God appearing as this universe. And we are recognizing that you are right here with me, you are One with me, more than I am one with my hands and feet. When I am awake to God’s very present help, God’s existence, you are One with me, receiving it as I am receiving it.

Healing is revealing

This whole creation is ever and only a spiritual universe, only God manifesting. There is nothing else, for God is Omni-being, Omni-manifestation, Omni-formlessness; God is the All-in-All. God is both form and thinglessness, because being without limit, it is not impeded. God is paradoxical, being its own opposites, being Itself and me and my enemy, and being our Divine Awareness right now.

So, everyone is one with us, while help is being given to the person who has asked for it, because they are opening themselves to help. This person does not have to be in the room nor aware of the process going on within me. This divine Oneness heals everything. It is the revelation of our constant perfection, with signs following. We are giving help without trying to correct a problem — that itself would limit us. We need no healing; it’s really revealing: Divine Creation is already perfect.

All roads lead to home

We become aware, all roads lead to Home, every path taken is right, a blessing in disguise, and it’s necessary that some of these paths seem to be problems. If we want to climb most efficiently to the mountaintop, the path will sometimes be taking us downward. Together we search every side-path, every downside of every characteristic that there is in this world.

Say we are just inundated with delicious foods. We might worry that the supply will run out, or we’ll get too heavy, or it’s not healthy for us, or that we’re in a struggle with someone else to obtain it — all sorts of downsides, each one a human trepidation, something good could secretly be bad. But if a problem pushes down a spring with great oppressive force, it springs up the more powerfully. So, between us, we cover every possible angle, we each uniquely make explorations that rule out each worry, each horror, to shake us awake to miraculous Reality.

This is a unity of Love undiminished by time and space, even by life and death. Every episode in humankind’s epic of Consciousness plays out right now in the Divine Awareness that is eternal, Omniscient, healing all. God is sacrificing Itself by appearing as us. When we feel distant and despondent, feeling despair, God is sacrificing Itself so that Its formlessness is transformed into unfolding relationships of greater and greater Love,

You, my Beloved fellow seeker, you and I and everyone right now is Holy Beingness.

Great Peace.
