April and May sessions for participants also open
Riding Beyond, an Ashland nonprofit which uses interactions with horses to help women recovering from breast cancer treatment, has opened signups for volunteer training sessions on Tuesday, March 12, and Saturday, March 16.
Registration for April sessions for breast cancer survivors is also open. The four weekly three-hour sessions, held 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons, begin April 16 and 17. They are held at Little Creek Ranch, 2900 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland.

Riding Beyond has recently been accepted for the national Seen Through Horses Campaign taking
place in May in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, sponsored by Horses for Mental
Health.
Since 2013, Riding Beyond has offered free spring and fall 4-week sessions to breast cancer
survivors, Saturday monthly sessions May through September for the general public, and weekly
meditation circles with horses to the general public throughout the year.
