I have been attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival since 1997, first as an educator introducing students to the magic of live theater, and since the early 2000s with my wife on our annual pilgrimage to the festival.

I am excited about the direction Nataki Garrett is taking the festival. Theater needs to be vital and relevant. We can only make sure this happens by being more inclusive, while at the same time respecting those upon whose shoulders we rest. Ms. Garrett is doing just that. Please pass my thanks and gratitude along to Ms. Garrett and the rest of the staff, actors, and crew of OSF.
