Jackson County Animal Shelter at capacity; adoption fees waived and reduced

The Jackson County Animal Shelter announced Tuesday that the shelter near Talent is at full capacity and will offer reduced and waived adoption fees through Aug. 17.

Dogs who have been at the shelter for 75 or more days are available with all fees waived.

All other dogs at the shelter are available for 50% off regular adoption rates.

Adoption includes first vaccinations and the spay or neuter surgery for unaltered dogs. 

An annual dog license fee of $35 is required for all dogs adopted from the shelter, located at 5595 South Pacific Hwy.
