After two years off due to COVID-19, celebration starts Monday afternoon

The Ashland Chamber of Commerce’s Children’s Halloween Celebration returns Monday, Oct. 31, after two years off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The parade begins at 3:30 p.m. in front of the Ashland Public Library at 410 Siskiyou Blvd., and continues down East Main Street to Ashland Plaza.

The chamber invites families and children to lead the parade and adults without children to follow behind them.

The parade will be led by members of Samba Like it Hot in honor of Chris Wood, the band founder and leader, who died Oct. 1 at age 73.
