After a brief member meeting, Kathie Ordal and Mary Robsman will tell the fascinating tale of Tabitha Moffat Brown, who made her way from Missouri to Oregon in 1846 at the age of 66. After surviving many hardships she founded the Oregon Orphan’s Asylum and School which would eventually grow to become Pacific University.
