Jacksonville Haunted History tours

Historic Jacksonville Inc. will hold multiple haunted history tours on Friday, Sept. 8, with all offerings starting at the corner of North Oregon and “C” streets in downtown Jacksonville.

The 7 and 7:30 p.m. courthouse tours will feature brothels, epidemics, and hangings. The 7:15 and 7:45 p.m. Britt Hill tours will touch on murder, arson, saloons, and Oregon’s oldest Chinatown.

“These tours are not your typical ‘ghost tour’ with special effects,” a news release says. “Jacksonville Haunted History tours are about real hauntings from past events.”
