Barry Kraft will be reading the Poetry of some of his Favorite Poets: Wallace Stevens, Elizabeth Bishop, and James Merrill.

Over the decades at Bloomsbury Books, Barry Kraft has given more than two dozen poetry readings, sharing the work of his favorite poets. At this reading, he will include little-known gems by Wallace Stevens, Elizabeth Bishop, and James Merrill.

Barry has been an actor and lecturer at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for 31 seasons. His other acting credits include the Colorado and Utah Shakespeare Festivals, the Old Globe in San Diego, San Jose Repertory Theatre, A Contemporary Theatre in Seattle, American Conservatory Theater, and Marin Shakespeare Company, among others. He has performed in 88 full productions of Shakespeare’s 38 plays, portraying more than 100 roles.

Barry is the author of After Dinner Shakespeare and the Shakespeare Insult Generator.
