The city of Ashland will ring in the new year with a town hall meeting.

The public is invited to join Mayor Tonya Graham, City Council members and city staff as they gather from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in the Rogue River Room in Stevenson Union at Southern Oregon University.

Graham will give the State of the City address, followed by presentations of the James Ragland Volunteer Spirit Award and the Alan C. Bates Award, according to a release sent by the city of Ashland.
