The Talent Business Alliance talked tourism with residents from Talent and Phoenix during a Thursday, July 10, listening session. Talent and Phoenix, the two cities that experienced the worst of the 2020 Almeda Fire, have come together to bolster tourism in their respective communities in the years after the devastating fire.

Developing more tourism in Talent is the aim of a public session set for 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at the Talent Community Center, 104 E. Main St.

Downtown Talent came alive with sound Saturday as the first-ever “The Talent Show” music festival took over the streets, offering a free afternoon of live performances by 29 bands across seven outdoor stages.

Seniors struggling to find affordable housing could find relief under legislation sponsored by Oregon Rep. Pam Marsh, D-Ashland.
