An Ashland man is facing multiple charges after allegedly punching a restaurant employee in the face on Sunday, Sept. 14, in downtown Ashland.

Ashland Police Chief Tighe O’Meara said in a Monday, Sept. 15, phone interview that Thomas Bradley, 62, was allegedly intoxicated, refused service and asked to leave Harvey’s Place Restaurant and Bar on East Main Street.

The incident escalated into a “group fight” outside of the restaurant as other people got involved in the altercation, according to the unconfirmed Broadcastify scanner call.

O’Meara said Bradley was arrested on allegations of assault in the fourth degree, second-degree disorderly conduct and trespass in the second degree.

An emergency medical call was also dispatched to the restaurant, according to the PulsePoint app.

Ashland.news was unable to reach Harvey’s Place Restaurant and Bar to learn about the condition of the employee who was allegedly assaulted.
