Is it possible? Can it be possible that beleaguered Ashland Police Chief Tighe O’Meara is back again — yes again — to tighten his grip on the unfortunate (Ashland police chief seeks tougher exclusion rules), to further the economic disparity in Ashland?

How many times will the chief come back to the dupes on the City Council to push his illegal agenda to deny citizens their due-process rights?

Hey, Mr. Chief says, Medford does it. 

Well, I submit that Ashland shouldn’t mimic a city that’s not particularly known for adhering to the law. I would hope we can do better. It’s well past time for the council to tell O’Meara, “Hell no. And don’t come back again.” 

Of course, you’d have to have a spine to do that.
