A celebration of life for the longtime schoolteacher will take place May 17 in Ashland

A celebration of life for Amanda Pyle, of Ashland, who passed away Sept. 3, 2024, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in Calvin Hall at the First Presbyterian Church, at 1615 Clark Ave. (at Siskiyou Boulevard) in Ashland.

Amanda served nearly 30 years as a teacher in Phoenix and Talent elementary schools, primarily in second- and third-grade classrooms.

Friends, former colleagues and students are invited to attend the celebration and, should they wish, share their memories of Amanda.
