Terry Frosini was born March 13, 1945, to Eddie and Myrtle Frosini, and passed away on Jan. 31, 2025, at the age of 79. He passed peacefully in his home in Ashland, Oregon, a place he has always loved. He is survived by his children Chris and Nicole and three grandchildren.
Terry joined the Peace Corps out of college and spent several years living in Ethiopia and traveling around Africa — an experience that completely reshaped his life. When he returned to the US, he became a teacher with the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked for more than 20 years.
He was later asked to be one of the first distance educators of French via the local PBS station in Clark County. His eclectic teaching style and engaging personality made him a hit with his students as well as the community at large. From there, he became a freelance videographer, making documentaries and commercials for organizations all around the US.
Terry was an accomplished artist who enjoyed working in a number of different mediums over the years, such as charcoal drawing, stained-glass making, pottery, and painting. He loved traveling, camping, tennis, and riding his motorcycles as fast as he possibly could. Terry made friends easily and enjoyed conversing with strangers he met.
He will be missed by his family and many friends.
