Thrills, speed, spectacles and good deeds come together on Saturday, April 8 when Southern Oregon Derby, a local women’s flat track roller derby team, hosts a fundraiser benefiting Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) during the team’s match-up against Nor-Cal Roller Girls.
This evening will be a hit (with bruises, for sure!) and takes place at the Medford Armory. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the evening will also include a silent auction, bake sale, beer garden and more, with a portion of the proceeds going to FOTAS. If you’ve not been to a roller derby in a while, don’t miss this one!
Tickets are available online for $12 at http://www.soderby.org/bouts/events , or $15 at the door. Military and seniors are also $12, and children under 10 are free. The Armory address is 1701 S. Pacific Hwy (99) in Medford.
