The Oregon Department of Transportation will host an open house about two upcoming bridge improvement projects from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at The Grove, 1195 E. Main St., Ashland, according to a news release.
Two Ashland innkeepers help mothers of people with special needs get much-needed breaks from caregiving by, in coordination with the nonprofit organization A Mother’s Rest, offering three-night stays at their inns, Country Willows Inn on Clay Street and Chanticleer Inn on Gresham Street.

Local outdoor nonprofit the Siskiyou Mountain Club will hold the grand opening of an outdoor store whose proceeds are intended to fund regional trail maintenance from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at 33 N. Third St., Ashland.
