SUMMARY:Free Children's Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Hello\, parents: \nI invite you to experience the profound transformation that my neuro-movement lessons can offer your child. \nThe movement lessons are a somatic\, hands-on\, mostly nonverbal educational dialogue for infants and children that help their brains become better organized. It improves learning in all areas. Whether it’s a milestone that’s been missed or just about ready to emerge\, a primary reflex that doesn’t integrate properly\, or a behavioral challenge\, I can help. If your child experiences visual\, perceptual\, attentional difficulties\, or birth trauma\, I can help them find their unique path through to become powerful learners. If your infant is neuro-typical and you see value in a somatic process that deepens their connection to themselves to accelerate learning\, I can help. I’ve given hundreds of children the brain tools necessary to overcome learning challenges and turn on their ‘learning switch.’ \nWhen I apply the Nine Essentials of The Anat Baniel Method in a movement lesson\, your child becomes a powerful learner. I look forward to introducing you and your child to this potent learning process. \nHosted by Patricia Holman-Guild\, certified Feldenkrais\, and Anat Baniel\, Method for Children practitioner \nAges: Birth to 12 years old; 30-minute time slots

SUMMARY:Salem 2023: What’s Up?
DESCRIPTION:The April SOCAN General meeting – our first in-person meeting since the COVID crisis – will feature members of the SOCAN Federal and State project team reporting on which legislative proposals are alive\, which are not\, and what climate-conscious Oregonians can do to help those proposals that deserve our support. \nAfter a hard-fought race for Governor in 2022\, a campaign in which she highlighted support for climate action\, Tina Kotek was triumphant against two candidates who both campaigned against climate action. Although the climate crisis is non-partisan\, the Democratic Party as a whole embraced climate action while the opposition campaigned against it. The 2023 Legislative session in Salem reflects this dichotomy. By late April\, we’ll know which proposals have a chance for passage\, and which have none; we will know which proposals are moving and could use rural Oregonian help\, and which are not. \nThe program will be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday\, April 25\, at the Medford library\, 205 S. Central Ave.\, Medford. There is no charge for attending.

SUMMARY:Upgrading Your Nervous System & Consciousness with Dr. Luke Schmelzle
DESCRIPTION:In this highly informative and free talk\, held at the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library\, 1757 Ashland St.\, Ashland\, Dr. Luke will provide a toolbox of proven techniques\, tools\, and practices for stimulating an upgrade to your nervous system and elevating your consciousness. \nHe will outline a framework for quantum living. Learn important strategies for liberating the body of trauma\, maximizing wellness\, and expanding consciousness. \nDr. Luke Schmelzle DC\, M.Ed.\, B.S.\, is a chiropractor in Ashland. After a career as a school principal for 25 years in various schools across the country\, he embarked upon a new career as a doctor of chiropractic\, fulfilling another dream held since high school. While he loved his career in education\, working with hundreds of children and families\, he felt an unquenchable calling to the healing arts. The time was right for a new path. \nWhile a chiropractic student\, he was introduced to Network Spinal Analysis (NSA)\, or more commonly called Network Spinal (NS)\, which is a revolutionary chiropractic technique for liberating stored stress energy from the body. He experienced profound changes in his own nervous system\, peeling away layers of harmful\, accumulated stress energy. Not only did it transform his own life\, but he also noticed significant changes in the lives of his family members. He experienced more ease in his life\, more available energy to pursue the good things in life\, and better adaptability to the stressors of everyday living. In short\, Dr. Luke believes that it allowed him to connect deeper with his own true self\, and to connect more fully with the power of the universe. Now he has a passion to share this with others! \nDr. Luke is involved with the Ashland Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves as Chairman of Ashland’s annual Fourth of July Parade Committee. He supports many local charities and local businesses. \nLEARN MORE: https://tailofthesunnsa.com \nView full events calendar: https://rvml.org/events
