At the end of the program patrons will be given the opportunity to purchase copies of Lindenmeyer’s works. Copies will also be available in the collection for checkout. Patrons will also leave with a sense of joy and positivity from Lindenmeyer’s infectious positive energy. \nJoanie Lindemeyer is 66 years young\, a former Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet Catholic nun who is now an Episcopalian with St. Timothy’s. Joanie serves on the church vestry and in the local community in many ways that include speaking about and promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion.

SUMMARY:Thursday Evening Calm Abiding Meditaion
DESCRIPTION:This meditation is common to many traditions of Buddhism. In this practice\, we rest our attention on a simple meditative support\, such as the breath. Instead of following thoughts and emotions as we usually do\, we release them and maintain our connection to the support. \n“From this practice\, we can experience a stable and calm mind. We learn to maintain and return to a sense of stillness\, no matter what our outer circumstances. The mind is relaxed\, alert and aware. The results of this practice are serenity\, freedom in the face of circumstances\, and ultimately Buddhahood.” \nFrom Meditation for Beginners\, by Bokar Rinpoche. \nTo attend Calm Abiding Meditation via Zoom\, email the office at OFFICE@KSCASHLAND.ORG to join the mailing list. \n

DESCRIPTION:TICKETS ARE STANDING ROOM ONLY- NO SEATS! \n21+ show Chairs will ONLY be available for people with disabilities\, seniors\, and persons with injuries that makes them unable to stand for long periods of time. \nFood and Drinks available for purchase. \nShook Twins \nSince their 2008 debut You Can Have The Rest\, Shook Twins have conjured up dreamy folk with ghostly traces of Americana tradition uplifted by transcendently hummable melodies and lilting cinematic instrumentation. Along the way\, legendary New York Times best-selling author Neil Gaiman\, USA Today\, Langhorne Slim\, Mason Jennings\, and more fell under their spell and publicly professed adoration. \nGlitterfox \nThe Portland based band Glitterfox has released seven singles in just eight months under the record label Kill Rock Stars. 2024 found the band touring a break neck speed including a crowning jewel appliance at Newport Folk Festival. With their indie rock recipe that deftly balances Southern songwriting shine and nostalgia-fueled anthems\, the band surges on with their debut LP due in 2025.
