SUMMARY:The Lost Language of the Feminine with Suzanne Mathis McQueen
DESCRIPTION:FREE ADMISSION – 1757 Ashland St.\, Ashland. One mile west of Interstate 5\, exit 14. \nBased on her book\, “4 Seasons in 4 Weeks”\, Suzanne will take attendees on a surprisingly simple\, non-technical journey through the monthly hormonal landscape\, revealing an approximate 28-day female body clock. \nA remarkable navigational system within\, this logical and holistic reproductive blueprint can be tapped into throughout a woman’s lifetime for optimal decision-making in health\, business\, and love—even beyond menopause. \nDuring the presentation\, we’ll touch on the colonization of the feminine culture\, politics of the womb\, sacred geometry\, the four phases of the monthly body clock\, why females must align with this powerful rhythm within\, and the global importance of balancing the Masculine with the Divine Feminine. \nThis presentation is designed primarily for women of all ages but benefits everyone\, especially couples\, and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. \nSuzanne Mathis McQueen never imagined she would be promoting the virtues of female hormones as a means to reach equality\, well-being\, and enlightenment. However\, that is exactly what she is doing. McQueen’s book\, “4 Seasons in 4 Weeks\,” reveals a hidden treasure map and lost language that leads to long-forgotten core female power and wisdom. \nA lifelong entrepreneur and 35-year Southern Oregon resident\, Suzanne was a hairdresser who owned two salons before building The Phoenix\, an award-winning day spa in Ashland\, while also co-founding a private aesthetics and skin care licensing institute. It was during this time of having over 30 (almost all female) employees that Suzanne came to see the repeating energy patterns of women and appreciate the personal stories that her clients and friends shared with her\, deepening her resolve to participate more fully in finding solutions to the varied and intimate challenges of her gender. Eventually\, a personal journey and an awakening revealed the secrets of the Feminine’s rhythm\, introducing her to the ancient code within women and the guidance and support it brings to their daily experiences. \nShe soon discovered that the work also serves male partners\, and there are ways to customize the method for gender-fluid individuals and couples. After selling her day spa in 2003\, Suzanne took a break\, consulted businesses\, facilitated women’s talking circles\, led water ceremonies\, and practiced\, for seven years\, the four-phase cycle-tracking method that had been revealed to her. It took another seven years to write the book\, and in 2012\, she published “4 Seasons in 4 Weeks.” \nMcQueen calls herself a Sacred Feminist and is a reproductive rights protector and activist. A regular guest on Feminine empowerment telesummits\, she is dedicated to changing the way the world views women by changing the way women view themselves. Her passion is teaching females about their personal visions and gifts\, why they must know themselves better\, what they deserve\, and how they must change the world for the better. \nShe believes the key lies in replacing the false negative narrative passed down through the generations about women and their cycles to aligning with one’s empowering hormonal sequence and body clock as a daily practice. Relevant material for couples\, tweens\, health providers\, business owners\, and athletes is in the works. \nView full events calendar: https://rvml.org/events

SUMMARY:Niguma Yogas with Kalu Rinpoche
DESCRIPTION:In-person only \nJune 2 – 4 in the Ashland Hills Hotel Cosmos Room\nAshland\, Oregon \nJoin us for this rare opportunity to study with a lineage master for the benefit of all. \nFriday\, June 2\, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.; 2 to 3:30 p.m.; and 4 to 5 p.m.\nSaturday\, June 3\, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.; 2 to 3:30 p.m.; and 4 to 5 p.m.\nSunday\, June 4\, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 pm. \nCost: $150 ($90 financial hardship fee) + Dana (generosity) offering for the teacher \nKyabjé Kalu Rinpoche\, lineage holder of the Shangpa Kagyu Buddhist tradition\, will be teaching the rare and unusual physical yogas of the 11th century yogini\, Niguma\, in Ashland\, Oregon.\nHe is offering these instructions to bring awareness to our physical and mental well-being\, and to give physical benefit using this lineage of yoga and practice that has been maintained for the last thousand years. \nLink to Register: https://www.kscashland.org/kalu-rinpoche-niguma-yogas \nImportant to note:\nThis presentation represents a new era in the transmission of Vajrayana Buddhism\, in which a once-secret practice is made available to the general public by an experienced lineage holder. This transmission is a support for advanced tantric disciplines\, including Mahamudra and Dzogchen. As Kalu Rinpoche explains\, this new openness surrounding the Tibetan Yoga tradition\, according to H.H. the Dalai Lama\, is for the mutual benefit of individuals and society at large. For a description of the decision to make these teachings available publicly: \nhttps://shangpakagyu.org/kalu-rinpoche-the-purpose-of-the-niguma-yoga-part-3/ \nBACKGROUND\nLady Niguma was an 11th-century realized Buddhist yogini born into a Brahman family in Kashmir. She was one of the two fully-realized mahasiddhas (greatly accomplished meditators) whose wisdom and teachings led to the formation of the Shangpa Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism\, which Kalu Rinpoche leads. \nThe exercises of Niguma’s Yogas are essential instructions for the supreme accomplishment of the path of liberation. They utilize our bodies as a method to cause the ‘prana mind’ to enter the central channel of the subtle energy body\, to untie the knots in the channels. \nRinpoche will teach the postures as support for breathing technique\, calm abiding meditation\, the bodhicitta (awakening heart) outlook\, and teachings on the Bodhisattva (great awakened being) way of life. These exercises are extremely beneficial for the mind\, the physical body\, and the inner subtle body. \nDETAILS\n-Online registration is required. \n-This event is suitable for people of all ages\, physical capabilities\, faiths\, ethnicities and orientations. All are welcome. \n– Everyone is advised to bring a zabuton or exercise cushion (approximately 3 feet by 3 feet) or a yoga mat\, as a support for floor sitting\, meditation and learning the postures. \n-KSC will provide some zabutons\, but will not “reserve” them for individuals\, so it is best to bring some floor covering if you intend to sit on the floor. \n-Some chairs will also be provided\, though not reserved. \n-Modest gym attire is required.
