SUMMARY:STEAM PUB! The Science of Color
DESCRIPTION:Join us for STEAM Pub! \nWe are partnering up with our friends at Art Bop Beer Co! Once a month we’ll take a deep dive into a STEAM topic (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Art and Math) AND we’ll do it with a drink in hand! Art Bop will be bringing your favorite beer and kombucha! We will also have wine\, water\, and soda. First drink is included in the cost of your ticket. Feel free to bring your own light snacks to munch on while you learn all about a new topic every month! Additional beverages are $5.00 each. \nMay STEAM Pub is all about: The Science of Color \nGet ready to have your mind blown—color-style! In this lively and nerdy-fun 40-minute presentation\, artist Sarah Burns takes you on a vivid journey through the science of color. Learn what color actually is\, how we perceive it\, and why most people have been misled by the classic red-yellow-blue color wheel. You’ll discover the missing piece of the color puzzle\, find out which primaries actually work\, and walk away with your own updated\, scientifically accurate color wheel. Courageous participants can even try out some hands-on color mixing fun using paints or colored lights to see the new color theory in action!
