With just enough challenges growing up to gain some deep colors and spectrums in his life\, John has made use of the follies and torture of being human and turned them into joy and happiness by finding something that truly speaks to his soul – visiting remote natural areas and painting. \nJohn loves color and creating color. His focus has always been on landscapes of Southern Oregon\, particularly Southeastern Oregon. When creating a composition\, John’s interest is to translate the magic that he sees in the world and in nature onto his surface. Then join us on April 15 for Raising the Dead: An Overview of Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy. After a short member meeting\, presenter Wendi Babst will give an overview of the process of Forensic Genetic Genealogy (FIGG). She will discuss some examples of where this process has been used to solve long cold cases. She will also cover legal and ethical considerations surrounding the use of FIGG and some of the recent advances in this exciting field. \nCost: Free for all. \nRVGS Members do not need to register\, either join us for the watch party at the RVGS Library or join via Zoom.
