SUMMARY:Sunday Service: Boundaries\, Limits\, and Safeguards
DESCRIPTION:When Unitarian Universalists speak of being centered in Love\, what does that mean? How do we embody Love that protects the vulnerable\, demands justice\, and doesn’t surrender to bullies or the fear they spread? Rev. Sean explores ways we can strengthen our image of Love to include this kind of strength? \nMonthly Theme: Anger \n“When we fail to set boundaries and hold people accountable\, we feel used and mistreated. This is why we sometimes attack who they are\, which is far more hurtful than addressing a behavior or a choice.” ― Brené Brown\, The Gifts of Imperfection” \nAttend in person or watch live or recorded on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@roguevalleyunitarianuniver8871

SUMMARY:Unity Community Of Ashland Presents Gangaji January 19th\, 11 AM
DESCRIPTION:Interfaith spiritual center Unity Community Of Ashland is proud to present spiritual teacher and author Gangaji on January 19th at 11 am. Gangaji will offer a talk and interactive audience participation at UCOA’s 11 AM service. Service is from 11 AM to 12:30 PM and includes music presented by recording artist and minister Rev. Kathy Zavada. \nGangaji\, born Toni Roberson\, grew up in Mississippi. Like many of her contemporaries\, she searched for fulfillment through relationships\, career\, motherhood\, subculture experiences\, political activism\, and spiritual practice. While she had never planned to go to India\, it was on the banks of the Ganges River that her search ended. In 1990\, Gangaji met her teacher\, Sri H.W.L. Poonja. Today\, as a teacher and author\, Gangaji speaks to people from all walks of life inviting them to fully recognize the absolute freedom and unchanging peace that is the truth of one’s being. \nGangaji is the author of The Diamond in Your Pocket: Discovering Your True Radiance; Hidden Treasure: Uncovering the Truth in Your Life Story; Freedom and Resolve: The\nLiving Edge of Surrender; and You are That Volume 1 & 11. \nUnity Community Of Ashland was founded by Rev. Kathy Zavada and offers Sunday services each week at 11 AM at the Havurah\, 185 N. Mountain Ave. Rev. Kathy is an Interfaith Minister and recording/performing artist of sacred music. SUMMARY:Siskiyou Singers Winter 2025 Concert: "A Joyful Noise"
