DESCRIPTION:Katie Pruitt is a singer/songwriter and guitarist whose music demonstrates the transformative power of personal storytelling. Growing up queer in the Christian South\, she has garnered acclaim for her deeply introspective lyrics and empathetic approach to songwriting. Pruitt’s work has been praised for its dynamic presence and patient\, determined navigation of serious subjects. Her music often reflects a journey of self-exploration and self-compassion\, aiming to resonate with listeners by addressing themes of identity\, acceptance\, and hope. \nDrumming Bird \nDrumming Bird is the main vehicle of singer-songwriter Austin Sawyer. Sawyer has been writing and performing music as Drumming Bird for over a decade\, meticulously crafting a sound that lies somewhere between the youthful noise of indie-rock and the poignant working-class introspection of Americana. Drumming Bird’s forthcoming record\, Roadkill Poetry\, was produced by Oscar-nominated songwriter Mike Viola (Panic!
