SUMMARY:Fall Native Plant Sale for the Pollinators
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Fall Native Plant Sale for the Pollinators! Fall is the best time to plant native plants to give them time to root in during winter! Come check out the amazing selection of native plants for your yard or pollinator garden – there will be native plants for everyone and for every growing condition! \nShop returning plant vendors: Klamath Siskiyou Native Seeds\, Cornucopia Acres\, Klamath Native Plant Nursery\, White Oak Farm\, and Pollinator Project Rogue Valley! We are excited to host special guest\, Sunday Afternoons\, bringing hats for all your outdoor adventures – from gardening to hiking and more! \nPlant lists will be available on Pollinator Project Rogue Valley’s website the week prior to the sale date so you can plan your purchases. Expect the first 2 hours to be busy! Visit our website for additional details on parking and much more! \nPollinator Project Rogue Valley is a 501c3 Non-Profit\, EIN 82-2110010. We are a volunteer-led Oregon-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit concerned about the health of our native pollinators and plant communities. We offer multiple programs to help realize our goal to increase\, protect\, and steward native plants for native pollinators. Our Growing Gardens for Pollinators program encompasses our on-site nursery where we propagate native plants to share with the community through donations and plant sales. Seed is packaged and sold\, or donated to schools\, community gardens\, and other community partners. We believe everyone can make a difference in ‘saving the bees’ – simply by planting a native plant pollinator garden! \n* Expect the first hour or two to be VERY crowded! * Leave dogs at home except for service animals. * Parking is very limited on site. You will find parking on Main Street\, along neighborhood streets\, and in the Umpqua Bank and Civic Center lots. Be prepared to walk a block or two. *Vendors are not able to accept payments for other vendors – please pay for plants in the space they are in. * If paying in cash\, small bills are always appreciated. * If possible\, please bring boxes\, bins\, baskets\, or other containers to carry your plants. * Restroom facilities will not be available. * Helpful volunteers will be available to help with plant selection and to load out large purchases. * Vehicles will be able to access the area for pick up after purchase\, but bringing a cart to transport your purchases back to your car is a good idea. * Pollinator Project Rogue Valley will have merchandise for sale (native plant books\, bumble bee books\, t-shirts)\, and donations are always appreciated! * Visit our neighbors who will be open for business in Suite A: The Oregon Cheese Cave and Kohi Lu Cafe!

SUMMARY:Sunday Service: What’s Power Got to Do With It?
DESCRIPTION:Power is sometimes seen as a negative\, a part of a hierarchy that limits power to the top. But we also know about personal power and the concept of “power with” which is Rev. Sean’s commitment in ministry. We will begin our month-long exploration of power. \n“The key is to find the places where you are powerful\, where you are hopeful and where you have the opportunity to make a difference.” – Aidan Ricketts in The Activist’s Handbook \nAttend in person or watch live or recorded on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@roguevalleyunitarianuniver8871
