SUMMARY:Launch of the Ashland Sunrise Project
DESCRIPTION:This event will kick-off the launch of the Sunrise Project in Ashland. \nThe Sunrise Project aims to help former sundown towns reconcile their history of racial exclusion by creating new identities as that of “sunrise communities\,” the opposite to sundown towns. After starting in Grants Pass\, the Oregon Remembrance Project is now working with community members in Ashland to bring this vision of belonging for all to our community. Learn more about the project and how you can join us in rewriting the ending to the story of a sundown town. \nFeatured speakers include Taylor Stewart (Oregon Remembrance Project)\, Gabi Johnsen (Grants Pass Remembrance)\, & Anna Sloan (Southern Oregon Historical Society). \nAshland Sunrise Project is an Ashland Together Initiative in partnership with Oregon Remembrance Project. We thank the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for venue support for this event. \nPlease RSVP on the website.

SUMMARY:Lucid Dreaming\, Lucid Living with authors Nisha and Norma Burton
DESCRIPTION:The Lucid Dreaming\, Lucid Living oracle deck and book teaches you the skills of lucid dreaming in a unique\, non-linear way. Learn how to navigate through various states of consciousness with lucidity from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday\, Feb. 12. \nWhether you are an experienced lucid dreamer or just beginning your journey\, each card in the deck provides you with valuable tools to navigate the dream worlds as well as powerful answers to daily life dilemmas. The write-ups for these stunning cards contain two aspects —the waking message and the dreaming message— thus integrating the instructions for both states of consciousness. Meditating on these insightful cards will strengthen your abilities to dream lucidly and will offer guidance on how to move through waking reality more connected to your deep intuition. \nNorma Burton is a master of transpersonal psychology and scholar of world religions\, specializing in Buddhist psychology\, Jungian dream work\, and trauma healing. With nine years of advanced academic degrees and over 30 years of apprenticeship with indigenous elders\, Norma brings a rare level of expertise in guiding the exploration of the subconscious Dreamtime. \nNisha Burton is a skilled dream worker\, filmmaker\, technologist\, and digital artist\, trained in the art of journeying into the deep subconscious from a young age. She weaves the information that she has learned with masters into her own first-hand\, advanced experience in the lucid dream realms.
