SUMMARY:Siskiyou Crest Scoping Field Trip for Public Lands Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a scoping field trip to the Siskiyou Crest. This trip is being organized by KS Wild’s PLAY Stewardship Program\, along with representatives from the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and Klamath National Forest Services. \nDuring the trip\, we will be visiting Big Red Mountain and discussing the project’s goal of preventing unauthorized vehicles from entering the botanical area. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the area while learning about the measures being taken to protect it. Please note that the trip involves a two-mile walk\, so we recommend bringing lunch to enjoy atop Big Red Mountain and water to stay nourished and hydrated. \nWe have space for eight volunteer participants on this engaging and informative field trip. We hope that you can join us! \nhttps://www.kswild.org/upcoming-events/2023siskiyoucrestscoping
